Romeo & Juliet is one of Shakespeare's most beloved and accessible plays. A story of both humor and heartbreak, it follows the brief and tragic courtship, marriage, and death of the eponymous couple. Portland actor, director, and theatrical designer Matthew D. Pavik directs this story of love and loss. Original Renaissance-style costumes and music will accompany the fifteen actors in this period production.

Families are encouraged to attend. Bring a picnic or buy one at the show. Wine will be available for purchase at the wineries. As always, all performances are free.

Willamette Shakespeare is a non-profit theatre company based in Portland, Oregon, and the nearby Willamette Valley. The organization provides classical theatre in Portland and the Willamette Valley wine country, free of charge, to audiences of all ages.
