It's hard to decide which mistake is the worse that Titus makes in 1.1.
Denying a queens plea for mercy on her son, not choosing the better of the sons to inherit the thrown, or offering up his own already betrothed daughter to the in order to curry favor with the new Emperor. Titus makes Lear look as wise as Solmon.
