Iambic pentameter is an elusive thing to many students as well as teachers. It's so easy to lose your students in the confusion of iambs and trochees within the first thirty seconds of teaching.

I'd like teachers and scholars alike--or anyone who thinks they have a clear grasp on the teaching of iambic pentameter to primary and secondary as well as college students--to share their ideas and methods. I'm a teacher, myself, and am always looking for new, clear, concise and engaging ways to teach this concept/art form.
We also have this page in beta. It's incomplete at the moment, but might provide a good starting point.
