I'm looking to do TWT with my 7-12th graders next year, and am trying to think of a unique setting for it. We don't have a wide selection of Elizabethan costumes, so I was looking for a setting which would allow the boys to wear suits and the girls' dresses/costumes could be slightly more modern. Ideas?

Hi Caleb,

Sorry but this is in not really answering your request but I've yet to be impressed with a modern setting of this play. I understand the costuming restrictions you have and how modern setting scan help out with this. Have you considered a neutral setting - basic shirts and pants augmented with simple props. I've always found the characters in this so strong they could carry this story without a modern placement.

Good luck!
