Does anyone know how to interpret the following line from Act lll Scene 2 Line 63:

Enter Maria: Sir Toby - "Look where the youngest wren of nine comes"

The actual quote from the 1623 folio edition is:
Looke where the youngest Wren of mine comes. (bold added)
The word "nine" was an emendation from Theobald which replaced "mine" - what he had in mind was the last (or ninth) and weakest nestling.

Hope that helps -

Maria is usually played by a smaller actress... the "runt of the litter" so to speak...
