Hi guys,

I'm looking for monologues which are over 1.5 minutes for auditions in Jan onwards. I'm struggling to find many that fit the character I need. I'm looking for an intelligent insightful character who has a lot of energy, possibly demanding, and of a reasonably young age approximately 20-30yrs old. I've been looking at Beatrice (Much ado about nothing), Portia (The merchant of Venice), and Rosalind (As you like it), but to not much avail. Any thoughts would be much appreciated, thanks!

All those are good choices. Also, check our monologue section for women here:

Many of those fall in that age range.
