There is overwhelming evidence that the 17th Earl of Oxford, Edward de Vere, wrote both the works of Shake-speare & of MARLO [i.e., MAR-L(ord)-O(xford)] and that his cousin Francis Bacon edited & published the works as part of his own Great Instauration. Oxford was buried with his other cousins, Francis & Horace Vere, in St. John's Chapel of Westminster Abbey.

What's your proof for such a claim?

My evidence for the claim requires ~16,000 posts:

I meant proof by someone/something else which supports this claim besides you? I'm sure it doesn't take 16,000+ posts to summarize...

Shakspere was a non entity who shared a remarkable number of items of history with Oxford:
1) They both had fathers named John who once held the post of chamberlain and were specifically associated (in writing) with places named Stratford

2) They both had wives named Anne born in 1556

3) Thy both had a favorite daughter named Susan born on May 26 (i.e., St. Augustine's day)

4) They both took over as lessors of the Blackfriars theatre from one Henry Evans (25 years apart)
If all these are coincidences then they are remarkable coincidences!

By that logic, there must be a definite connection between Kennedy & Lincoln:

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

The names Lincoln and Kennedy each contain seven letters.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.

Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.

Both were shot in the head.

Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.

Both were succeeded by Southerners.

Both successors were named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are comprised of fifteen letters.

Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse.
Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

JFK's secretary was named Evelyn Lincoln, but no one named Kennedy
worked for President Lincoln (just check any Lincoln bio). Abe's
secretary was a young man named John Hays, who later served as
Secretary to Theodore Roosevelt - Secretary of State, that is.
Reagan was shot and pushed into a Lincoln.
Ford was shot at as well (in a Lincoln as I recall)

Lincoln permeates the modern presidency and would
be on the mind of any potential presidential assassin.
Many of these coincidences may well have
contributed to Kennedy's assassination.

We know an enormous amount of facts about both Lincoln & Kennedy most of which have nothing to do with each other (e.g., one was a Democrat from the East and the other was a Republican from what was then the West).

By contrast, we know very very few facts about either Shaksper or Oxford. It is remarkable that the four Shaksper/Oxford analogies which I have listed are ALL coincidence.

In fact, it is my contention that ALL of the facts & legends about Shaksper have analogies in the life of Oxford. This is what makes Oxford the one & only Shakespeare.

Really? That's not what 16000+ posts would have one believe...

A few...but your original response insinuated that there were over 16,000 postings of information which supported your original claim. That would logically infer that you had tons of information to support it, which contradicts your statement of "knowing very few facts."

Debating the Lincoln-Kennedy "coincidences" is futile. Anyone can poke holes in the "facts" with a minor amount of Googling. The point is that vague facts can easily distorted into coincidences, which support greater suppositions which are, in turn, restated as facts. Hence, the meaning of the word "coincidence." That's what a coincidence is.

You are welcome to add any ideas you want to share on what life's like as an Oxfordian (or any other kind of anti-Stratfordian), but don't expect conversions to be easy (and in many cases they'll be impossible).
