Hi all

Can someone help me with a question?

Exactly what is written on the grave stone of Anne Hathaway??

Loads of stuff about what's on Shakespere's grave, nothing on his wife tomb?

Was/is she so irrelevant?

I would love the text to be in its original form, spelling etc, but anything
is better than nothing.

hope someone can assist

thanks and regards to all

Thanks for the fast reply producer.

I have seen those pics but like I said there's no message on the gravestone
which is visible.

Its a funny thing, but Anne is left with a second best bed, she gets nothing that she
was entightled to, she's not mentioned by any one, talk about a domesticated wife!

She dies the same date as the First Folio. Some say she's mentioned in Sonnet puns etc.

But no, there is no interest in Anne, she was only a housewife.

At least 1t seems that the husband mentioned the word wife:

The world will waile thee like a makelesse wife,
Sonnet 9:4
Loe as a carefull huswife runnes to catch,
Sonnet 143:1

Thanks again for your effort, it is appreciated.
