Hi guys!

I am currently writing a term paper on Othello. I'd be glad to discuss my views on the play with someone interested by this topic.

I am wondering if Iago has the monopoly of villainy in the play; actually I think not...

What about you, what do you think?

Welcome!

Why do you think Iago doesn't have a monopoly?

I think Iago absolutely does have the monopoly of villainy in the play. After all, he is the mastermind behind the plan to break up Othello and Desdemona.
