Hello, I'm a 3rd year university students and this year I'm writing my BA thesis. I chose to write about metatheatre in Shakespeare's plays (I want to focus on 'Hamlet', 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and 'The Taming of The Shrew') but I have troubles finding academic articels of books written on that topic.
Could anybody reccomend me some resources? Thanks in advance.

I personally haven't seen much on this topic. But it might help to better define "metatheatre" as you think it encompasses. Wikipedia itself shows there's a debate on this topic:
