The Second Gamekeeper is out hunting deer with his fellow when they come across King Henry.
Less experienced than the First Gamekeeper, he has what he thinks is a brilliant idea about using crossfire to catch the deer, only to have it pointed to him that this actually lessens their chances. When they realize that they have a chance to capture the former King, the Second Gamekeeper is the one who first approaches Henry and questions him to make sure they have the right man. He has no answer to Henry’s question about whether they have broken an oath and lets the Fist Gamekeeper answer. He carries a crossbow.
