Julius Caesar Characters

Cicero is a Senator of Rome.

An older, gray-haired man, he is rather an elitist, he is highly intelligent, given to speaking Greek so that only the educated can understand him, dislikes being crossed by anyone, and will not join anything he has not himself begun, this last being the only reason he is not asked to join the conspiracy against Caesar. He possesses a strong reputation for wisdom among the population. He is put to death during the purges carried out by Octavius and Antony after Caesar’s death.
