Cassandra is a prophetess, one of Priam’s daughters and the sister of Hector, Paris, Troilus, Deiphobus and Helenus.
For refusing Apollo, she was cursed by him to always prophesize correctly but never be believed. She is generally considered to be mad, particularly by her brother Troilus. She is desperately fond of her brother Hector, who though he never follows her advice at least listens and considers it.
